A 20 Minute Meditation Class You Can Do Anytime

A 20 Minute Meditation Class You Can Do Anytime. Livestream meditation class recorded Wednesday 13th October 2021

Part One: 20 minutes

This meditation starts with you sitting down nice and easy, nice and gentle, breathing easily and naturally. It’s important in the first part of your meditation to just be patient and enjoy a few nice easy breaths and simply wait, because so often meditation can involve all these different activities, and think this and think that, but actually what we most need is to just stop. So I hope for us this morning, that this class can be an opportunity and permission to just stop for a moment. You don’t need to stop your thoughts or change how you feel in your body everything’s allowed.

Next up, be inspired by this gorgeous poem from Thomas Traherne ‘Wonder’ – It’s perfect for your yoga or meditation practice.

And so if you want to know if your meditation is working or not do take it up regularly and watch to see the changes that occur over several months or years. Even if you just take it up once a week or once a month, something new and interesting will evolve. And while the challenges of life may continue to come and go, you will have built up an enviable resting stress rate that doesn’t wear off after a few hours. You will have slow-happiness!
