Emma Mills is a leading London wellness expert known for her unique blend of mindfulness, nature and poetry. Her exciting new 24 hour meditation book, Inhale. Exhale. Repeat: published by Penguin Books in the UK and Conari Press in the USA, helps readers find the beauty of mindfulness in each corner of their day. With her unique approach to meditation, Emma brings a refreshing perspective to the wellness field, regularly contributing to national and international publications.
Emma’s background in psychology, coupled with nearly two decades of study, makes her an expert at blending modern approaches to wellness with eastern philosophy and literary inspiration. She collaborates with leading global brands, helping them add mindfulness expertise to their services, events and content. Most recently working with companies such as Lonely Planet, The National Gallery, Apple, Adidas, Neom Organics and Stella McCartney.
Alongside her meditation practice she helped pioneer a new programme of poetry therapy with MIND in the UK, going on to win a £50,000 innovation award in 2014. More recently In 2020, her work was incorporated into the Psychology BSc degree program at Westminster University, where she continues to guest lecture on mindfulness and poetry.
When she isn’t writing or teaching, Emma loves nature, European cinema, travel, cooking, fashion, reading poetry and spending time with family. She’s a kind, creative person passionate about making a positive difference in the world.
