Three Ways To Feel More Enthusiastic About Life in 2024
Spring is a very enthusiastic season for mother nature. From the blossom lined streets to the bluebells in the forest, everywhere you look nature is coming to life with increasing momentum and much verve!
But what about us humans, are we as enthusiastic about life as the spring flowers seem to be? Meditation has now been proven to bring an increased capacity for joy in practitioners, and with joy tends to come enthusiasm for life.
Three Ways To Feel More Enthusiastic About Life in 2024
1. Make An Enthusiastic Friend
Spend time with others who have a special interest and listen to them speak about it. Even if you don’t share their passion it’s often just as uplifting to hear about it. Or you could listen to your favourite singer talk about their latest album, or watch a movie or YouTube series filmed by people who have a passion. Incidentally, the Wellspring interview series at Emma Mills London is a great place to meet inspiring people, do have a listen. If you’re new to the series I’d recommend starting here:

🙏 Eileen Campbell on a life writing and publishing inspiring spiritual books – LISTEN

2. Reflect on freer times
It’s not uncommon to be unsure about your passions and interests. After all there are so many responsibilities in life and we don’t always have time to think. You might begin by considering the things you loved doing as a child when you may perhaps have had fewer obligations. Alternatively, consider the things you would do or the causes your would support if you had infinite resources, time, money, health etc. Make notes in your journal exploring what it is about those activities that you find so attractive?
3. Stay Open Minded
Many people sabotage their natural enthusiasm because of Small Self Doubt. They think their new hobby won’t go anywhere or they won’t be good at it. Instead try to explore hobbies and interests for fun, without an agenda or expectations.
And so how about you, what are you interested in these days? Do let me know in the comments.
